Who is Eligible for Membership<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MRARA extends along Madingley Road from Northampton Street to the east to just beyond Landsdowne Road to the west.\u00a0All residents, property owners, University Colleges and long-term tenants (2 years and more) in the area are eligible for membership if they are aged eighteen years or over. \u00a0Residents may be members of more than one residents association if where they live is included in more than one designated area.<\/p>\n

Membership<\/strong><\/p>\n

We welcome new members from the area.\u00a0There is one formal meeting a year, usually followed by a summer party. \u00a0Other meetings are held as needed, for example to reply to GCP consultations and carry out surveys of cycle and pedestrian traffic.<\/p>\n

Constitution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Subscription<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a nominal subscription set at \u00a315 per household or organisation. We want to be able demonstrate to third parties the number of households who have formally joined MRARA as members, and hope that the fee level will not be a barrier to joining.<\/p>\n

Should the subscription be problematic for whatever reason,\u00a0please\u00a0contact us directly at enquiries@mrara.org<\/a>.\u00a0Donations from members may be invited from time to time to cover extraordinary expenditure.\u00a0Such donations are welcomed, but\u00a0are voluntary.<\/p>\n
